Would you like to deepen your prayer life and become a more in??mate friend of God? Lay Carmelites are called to be involved in
the mission of the Church to sanc??fy the world through prayer. We are mothers and fathers, students, and single people going
about our everyday lives while reaching out to everyone in a loving way by our example. Our role models are the prophet Elijah
in his zeal for the Lord, and Mary, the mother of Jesus, for teaching us the way of contempla??ve prayer. By seeking God’s will in
all circumstances, we respond to the call to live the Gospel in our daily lives. We study and meet together for mutual
support. NEW CLASS STARTING! The Lay Carmelites are accep??ng candidates to begin forma??on classes soon. For more
informa??on on becoming a Lay Carmelite, call Lydia Ford at (214) 240–1420 or Celine Powers at (903) 962–0351.
